More Descriptions

  • This device is primarily used in conjoining an RG-59 coaxial cable to fit into a BNC (Bayonet Neill–Concelman) connection port. Its design is to house clamp on or twist on style attachments to RG-6 coaxial cables.
  • The BNC Twist-on Connector connects an RG-59 coaxial cable to a BNC connection port. Providing a firm loss-less connection, it allows you to quickly connect and disconnect using a twist-on type coupling.
  • This connector is used on devices that include but are not limited to: CCTV cameras, coaxial cables, DVR players, Surveillance and Security video systems, video and headend applications, and other RG-59 compatible video cabling applications.

First, after stripping the coaxial cable, turn the shielding layer outwards and wrap the shielding layer on the coaxial cable.

BNC twist-on3

How to use? Step 3#

Insert the stripped coaxial cable into the BNC, and turn the BNC head at the same time until it stops tightly.

I had the compression ones but I was moving stuff around and needed to shorten the cables so bought these. Getting them started was a bit tricky but once they bite they are great.
