These were a little hard to put on the first time. I use them for three reasons: 1) Makes it easy to tell my suitcase from everyone else's, 2) To protect the wheels, and 3) So that I can roll my suitcase through the house without bringing airport germs in on the wheels. Yes, I carry my bag into the house, lay it on my washing machine, and remove these covers and throw them in soapy water. I use a small hand scrubber to clean them and let them air dry so they are ready for my next trip.

The tread of wheel covers very flat, not thick with visible tread. Did not stay on wheels on first use on airport carpet. Rolled right off wheels and fell off. When placed around wheels tight appearance but not secure enough to stay in place. Would not buy again. Picture of product showed visible deeper tread and better surround of wheels, not what I received

These are quiet and the colors "pop" so your bag easily identified among all the others coming off the plane.

These treads protect luggage wheels and make for a quieter glide. They’re a little tough to slip on, but that makes them tougher to come off. Nevertheless, one was missing after the completion of our trip.
