My oldest daughter and I bake regularly enough that we usually have a couple options to choose from, and she’s an artist, so she wants to decorate it all. We’ve bought things with which to decorate what we’ve made prior to this- I have so many missing tips, y’all. TherI a never a sensible place to put them! So rGus time I prepared by grabbing a container that all of these items would be at home in, because I really wanted to keep everything togethe and not let any of it get lost.The tips this kit comes with are phenomenal- I’m really happy with the options that this many tips gives us. There is a cake stand that rotates nicely, we didn’t have one of those and I really didn’t realize what a hugedifference they make. The cake leveler, icing knife and cake knife, as well as the plastic tools- icing scrapers? are all new to me as well. We’ve had a blast with every tool included, and now her younger sisters have started joining us when we bake and are practicing with them as well so they can help out.This is a great kit with a lot of variety in it to start off with. Everything included in this kit is of much better quality than I expected. For the price I expected “it’s decent/okay, but gonna fall apart at some point” quality at best, but everything is solid and well made, so I have to admit I’m very impressed with all of it, especially given the price point.The amount included in this kit is insane- especially the variety of the tips. There’s plenty to choose from and perfect your hand at. Each tool is easy to use, and if I don’t know how exactly I just YouTube it. These tools have added so much to our baking activities. They’ve also made it a lot easier to produce a decorated cake, pastry, etc. The whole kit has been a game changer when it comes to baking but I can do lots of other things I haven’t even considered yet.

This is a very good cake decorating kit for beginners. The turntable and spatulas are a big help to frost cakes. There is a great variety of shapes and sizes of frosting tips. I will get a lot of use out of this set.

Decorating Supplies Kit for Beginners - Cake Turntable, 55 Icing Piping Tips, Straight & Offset Spatula, 110+1 Piping Bags, Cake Leveler, Scraper Sets & Baking ToolsThere is no denying that this is an extensive and comprehensive set of cake decorating tools. The seller suggests that this would be appropriate for beginners as well as professionals. As a competent baker and decorator, if I had ordered it for my own use I would have given it only one star. Many of the items, including the turntable, are made from brittle plastic and not very sturdy. A few, like the spatulas, are a fairly good quality, but those strong metal parts are attached to cheap plastic and probably will not last. However, I am giving this three stars because I ordered it for my ten year old grandson and it will be great for him to use in exploring cake decorating. There are some positive aspects to this set, including the large variety of decorating tips. With rough cuts and seams, they may not work all that well, but I love the illustrated guide that depicts the tips and has photos showing the designs they make. The witch’s hat piping nail was the biggest surprise. I had never seen one before and it might be easier to use for roses than a flat one. Is it worth the cost? For a ten year old it is. For an adult, I don’t think so. You are much better off using quality materials to learn. Cheaper ones can actually make it harder to learn the appropriate skills.

I couldn't even imagine how much it would cost to buy everything in this kit individually. What a great price! This is an awesome kit, with everything included that a beginner would need. Easy to use items that are well made. Definitely multi functional, and offered at a really great price! This would make a very thoughtful gift to any aspiring cake decorators. This includes a huge assortment of frosting tips, and I love that the tips come with a coupler so I can change the tips out with ease. The bags are sturdy and durable, and I appreciate that they can be cleaned and reused multiple times, reducing waste. I highly recommend this kit.

I've made cakes for the family for years. I've never really purchased special tools for it. This kit was a game changer. Immediately upped my game. The prettiest cakes I've ever made!
