The stand is not tall enough for the 2L set up. The Hot plate “overheating protection” prevents it from actually boiling water rapidly. This makes steam distillation impossible. All of the pieces were present and the glass was all intact. This is a decent choice if you are ok with spending another 60$ on a decent hot plate.

It’s the worst quality glass; it’s cracked, broken, air bubbles in them. Zero stars for this. They send a second one came even worse.

Quality of product seems okay BUT no thermometer was included and there's no info to contact vendor to request or replace missing item. Good product - poor business.

the hotplate is subpar id suggest getting a better hotplate as the one they sent is very slow heating up but it will get the job done im just impatient. overall i love this kit id also suggest getting the biggest one they have to save time, depending on your materials you have to use

Well, we were very excited to try this, but one of the main glass pieces arrived with a broken tip and the 100mL cup was also chipped. We hope the set can still work even though the glass tip arrived broken. We will see if it is still useable, because I don’t have the time to go through the hassle of returning the whole set.

I would like to say that the seller and the product are worthy of 5 stars. It arrived in 2 days, shipping included in the price. They handled all my customer issues and questions personally and were very eager to satisfy me as a customer. The glass is very thick and the places where they join are reinforced. Instructions are clear. I recommend to anyone wishing to make essential oils. If you want a 220V burner just ask for it otherwise it comes with 110V.
