These hurt my fingers so much trying to get them close together that I wonder if there's a tool that's does it for me. Really these are terrible they hurt your fingers a lot.

We use these all the time in our antique store. So much more easier than tying knots in string tags and it just looks better. I would suggest to also buying the next size bigger. We store these in a craft or tackle style plastic container that has separate areas for the sizes. Makes it so much easier to reach in and grab the size you need.They are not adjustable, so having the various sizes is great.
