My boat came with a 1000lb jack, and it was tough to raise. I wanted a 2000lb jack but none could be delivered in time for our next outing so I purchased this one rated for 1500lbs. It's got two wheels, instead of one and that's a huge plus, so it doesn't sink into the ground as readily. This product went on easily, and functions so much better than what it replaced. Good product, fast shipping, A+

Easy to assemble (although no instructions in the box). Seems heavy duty & cranks easily with a load. I will enjoy the double wheels (more stable & easier to move around on a hard surface). Good price on Amazon.

I've had a 1,200 lb. trailer jack on my 800 lb. cargo trailer. The kind of jack that costs around $30. The problem was that any time I put some weight in the trailer, usually 1,000-1,500 lbs., the wheel would turn and the jack actually began to bow out from the stress of the weight. So far, this trailer jack is handling the weight and the wheels move around well with the added weight. Sometimes it doesn't pay to go "cheap" and this has been a good purchase for me.
