If you can afford it frankly, go with stainless for a fence that needs to last. There is something... I don't even know if "off" is the right word for the quality of the zinc plating. It just looks different than I expect for yellow zinc plating. That said, the hardware seems well formed, the threads look fine, and the staples are suitable. I have no sign of the plating failing, just expect corrosion if it does since, well, it is not stainless.

These fence staples have been a nice upgrade and very practical choice for securing my wire fences. The pack size is generous, ensuring I had plenty for my project. The staples grip well in softwood, and the wire fixer helps keep everything in place securely. They are easy to work with and reusable, which adds to their value. The durability has been great, and they hold up well under tension. A solid option for anyone needing reliable fence fasteners.

These clips were easy to use and made the task of installing three hundred feet of fence much easier. No matter which way the clip turned as I drilled it in, it caught the fence and held it tight. If I needed to pull a screw and tighten the fence, it was no problem because the clips are heavy duty and did not bend, but bit into the posts nicely. Highly recommended for whatever your fence needs.

These work much better for me than the staples I had previously tried to us. I am using this to hold chicken wire fencing along the wood posts. Very satisfied.

Purpose for Product: Installation of a herd of handing pot metal frame supports.Product Inspection: Less than desirable plastic container with 90 wire fence staples. The screws are two inches long, robust, with an aggressive slash sharp point. The screws are magnetic with an 8mm head. The 8mm bit is magnet loaded. The claw staple appears robustly made with sharp points. The claw staple and the screw are advertised as (rust proof) due to the electroplated yellow zinc, I think (rust resistance) would be more appropriate.Product Performance: Attached the hanging pot support frame to a 4"x4" post with one of the fence staples. The sharp slash point easily penetrated the post and firmly secured the metal frame. I have many more of these to finish and have confidence that these fence staples will provide the necessary support. I bent one of the claws to test its durability, it did not bend well, it snapped in half down the middle where the screw hole is, BUT it took a lot of pressure break it. I bent one of the screws and it started to break at about 45 degrees on the first bend, see photo. These screws are notoriously brittle so no surprise it broke but it didn't take much pressure to accomplish.Summary: After experimenting some with this product I feel it will do what I need done by providing reliable securing of the metal frames. Price point is in line with comparable products. rust resistant - not rust proof
