I'll admit, I was skeptical about biodegradable straws. Previous experiences with organic straws left me disappointed:• Fragile straws breaking easily• Paper straws imparting weird tastesBut THESE straws are a total game-changer!They feel exactly like plastic - the perfect comfort zone I'm used to!BUT, the best part? They're NOT plastic! My daughter's constant requests for straws for smoothies and milkshakes are finally met:• No more excuses!• Guilt-free sippingThese straws:• Durable and flexible• Taste-neutral• Eco-friendlyPros:• Feels like plastic, without the guilt• Durable and long-lasting• No weird tastes or textures• Biodegradable and environmentally friendlyCons: None!Recommendation: A must-have for eco-conscious families withouth leaving the "plastic comfort zone".

I’m really impressed with these disposable straws! I love that they’re plant-based, making them an eco-friendly choice. It’s great to see a product that is both functional and better for the environment. The price is also fantastic for a pack of straws, especially considering their quality and sustainability. They hold up well in drinks without getting soggy too quickly. If you’re looking for a green alternative to traditional straws that doesn’t break the bank, these are perfect!

The straws are a little short like others have mentioned but that's only when you are drinking from large commercial cups. I order out a lot and 2/3rds of the time they no longer include straws. These have been a life savor. They are sturdy, and do the job. I wouldn't know they were biodegradable if I didn't buy them myself.

We strongly dislike paper straws and their taste (and what is in the paper?) and metal straws aren't practical for travel and certain size cups-- enter these compostable straws! We've purchased similar material straws, but our toddler loves colors, and these are fun and pretty! We love these! No weird taste, they don't disintegrate in your drink, and are well-made.

My kids love using straws but I hate throwing them in the trash, and washing the disposable ones seems pointless. These straws are great because I can throw them in the compost or recycling bin and I don’t feel guilty about straws sitting in a landfill. Great alternative to those yucky paper straws or the clangy metal ones.

Trying to make more earth friendly purchases - these straws are plant based and compostable. At some point we have to consider all the plastic that is going into the landfills and oceans. This is one of my choices to be a better human. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - nearly 6,000 reviews posted, viewed over 50,000 times, and over 24,000 likes. I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

The straws are great. I like the bendy neck and the colors. They are a tad flimsy and are compressed by the straw "hole" in the disposable cup lids I have. I also wish they were a little wider.
