I had bought a roll of pompom trim at a big box fabric store to trim an old scarf. It was only after I was driving home that I realized I hadn't bought enough (the trim I bought was only 4ft and for some reason I thought it was 4 yards...I needed at least 4 yards) and that also, the store had only one more spool in the color I'd bought, so I still wouldn't have enough, even if I went back to buy more. I loved the sea green color of the original trim but had a hard time finding a similar color when looking online, both on Amazon as well as other trim suppliers online. Everyone has a different name for a color like this and computer monitors don't help the process.I ended up buying what I did on Amazon because the color appeared to be a better match with my scarf than what I'd originally purchased and it also gave me 20 continuous yards and for a terrific price. (Plus free and quick shipping with Prime.) While I only needed about 4 yards of trim to do my scarf, a lot of reviews for other trims on Amazon that were sold as 5 yards worth, reviewers regularly mentioned that they were shorted yardage, it wasn't one continuous piece of trim, or both. Gah!I've taken photos to show how the trim came packaged as well as how it looks out of the package against my scarf, but ALSO in comparison to the original trim I'd purchased for color and pompom size. When looking at other pompom trim reviews, I repeatedly found either the color was hard to figure out when looking online or the pompom spacing or even what size each pompom actually was in comparison to everything. Some vendors show the poms against a ruler, which helps, but I think my last picture is important because you can literally get a great perspective of color, spacing and size all at once.While I still love the color of my original trim (it looks "brighter" and becomes more sea foam green or possibly mint green?) when next to the pale teal trim I've bought on Amazon, the pale teal trim is more muted and not "bright" and it definitely has more gray to it. I think the pale teal pompom trim I bought from Amazon works better with my scarf, too, because the pompoms are not as fat and as close together on the braid like my original trim. I do love the look of the original trim, but think it lends itself better to firm decorator pillows or even a large tote bag, but is too much for the scarf, especially as it is a very lightweight and almost sheer cotton voile. The pale teal trim still lets the scarf shine while adding the right touch of whimsy! For what it's worth, on my original trim, the poms are 3/4 of an inch each.I hope this review and photos helps!

My main issue was the size of the ball tassel and how tassels hang. The second issue is the color of the product I received. I wanted primary color red.

I returned this trim, as it was to be a beige color, but it was an odd light yellow color, no beige to it. Should give it a different color name.

This trim was exactly what I needed to finish off a seat cushion and back rest I made. It is sewn well. Tight stitching and great detail work. It has a bit if a stretchiness to it that I liked when attaching this trim to pillows I made also. Easy to work with. Great price! Worth getting. A lot of it goes a long way too.
