Very powerful fan even on “low”. It’s a bit noisy but the performance is worth it. It can be pointed in any direction. It’s mounted on my garage ceiling. The yellow color of the blades is striking.

Using this indoors mounted on wall.Looks cool, matches my color scheme.It’s a little on the loud side. This on low sounds and pushes air about same as equal size floor fan (this replaced) on high.Running this fan spares me from running ac in temperatures around 94 and under.Overall quite pleased.

Amendment to Review 5/10/2024: I did receive a note from the seller who addressed my concerns. With regards to the fan needing a collar. I failed to notice that there was an indentation on the metal shaft that comes out of the motor. This is where the screw in the collar provided would fit snuggly so there is no need for a collar to go underneath as this will keep the fan in place. I do think there should be a diagram in the instructions for assembly. They did say that they would amend the pictures to reflect the unit that I received (this was in reference to the differences between the stock photo and the fan that I have). I have amended my review to a four star rating as the fan itself really does work well plus the fact that I got such a quick response regarding my concerns from the seller.Original Review: I was so excited to open the box up, I was in desperate need of a good fan for the garage. When I pulled the fan out of the box the blades had come away from the fan. I looked at the instructions but there was no diagram as to how this should be assembled. The instructions that were included were more about electrical safety and no diagrams and assembly of the fan. I had to compare the fan I received to the pictures in the listing. As you can see the front of the blades show all the metal joining parts and are not painted as per the pictures that they list. I placed the blades on the motor only to find that a collar must be missing as they lay right on top of the motor which would make them rub and not turn if I had switched it on. I did note which way the blades need to face according to the photos that they supplied on here. I placed some washers that I had to hand which I have shown in the picture to demonstrate what I mean. I will have to go out and buy a collar so that I can operate this properly. Also in the pictures that they supply there are two bracket type pieces of metal on the back of the cage which you can wind the power cord on, this was not on the one that I had. As for the performance of the fan is works great. There is a pull chain which you pull to adjust the speed. Also supplied are two plastic handles that you attach at each end to tighten the brackets. To me this is extremely disappointing and poor quality for the price they are charging for this unit.

I got the 18inch outdoor wall fan. It gets really hot in the summer time in the south and fans help not only stave off heat stroke but helps minimize bug attacks. That is, if the fan is powerful. This qualifies. It's very powerful and with that power comes noise, so be prepared for that. Overall, useful outdoor fan.

I actually think I saw tje garage door move when I turned it on (just kidding). This fan only has 3 blades but moves air like crazy, and thats on LOW! Clean looking and allows meMore room on garage floor, being mounted on the wall. It’s actually cool in my garage now! Great find and price!
