Brazing Aluminum Parts

Aluminum brazing

Aluminum brazing

Compared to the melting point of aluminum alloys, the melting point of aluminum brazing rods is low, which helps to reduce the size of the heat-affected zone and reduce the thermal impact on the workpiece during welding.

Aluminum High Frequency Welding

Aluminum High Frequency Welding

The high-frequency current generates heat between the aluminum materials to increase the surface temperature of the aluminum materials, thereby realizing the welding process. Aluminum high-frequency welding is usually used to weld aluminum alloy components such as aluminum pipes, containers, and frames.

Aluminum TIG welding

Aluminum TIG welding

In aluminum TIG welding, a non-melting tungsten electrode is used to generate the arc and the weld is completed by manually adding suitable filler material. The weld is surrounded by an inert gas (usually argon) to prevent oxygen and other impurities from interfering with the welding process.

Don't use walmart propane torches. They'll melt the rods but they won't get the metal you're trying to seal hot enough. Gave 4 stars because I couldn't use them properly. Melting point is too high.

Heated up the old aluminum part until it was starting to melt itself. These rods never melted into the old aluminum, they just melted and fell to the ground, like the internal flux was never working. I was hoping I would not have to use an external/additional flux.
