USAGE
This multipurpose scouring sponge can be applied for household chores or to clean fibers in woodworking projects, you can use it to clean surfaces, polish woodworking projects, apply finishes, and more.
- Wear face protection to avoid inhaling air-borne particles.
- When using our sanding sponge for wood, sand in the direction of the grain. Use a tack cloth to wipe the sawdust on the surface completely.
- For irregular surfaces, squeeze the sandpaper sponge to conform to the shape.
- If the sanding sponge is still fit for re-use, rinse well and dry thoroughly before storage.

These are pretty thin, maybe about 1/8" or less thick. They do not hold up, too much at all. I'm simply using these to oil wood. The other thicker more durable pads last a very long time for multiple uses. These are barely able to get through 2 maybe 3 uses. Might be ok if you need a disposable cleaning pad that has mild abrasiveness. As long as you expect these to be single use throw away pads they may work out ok, but they are not as long lasting as what you may be used to with other brands. I will not get these again.

I use them on a sander with velcro to polish stove tops, with a solution of ceramic bright and ammonia. they are non abrasive and perform well!

Scrubbing the shower requires a little extra oomph, sometimes. These are great for cleaning soap scum and buildup without scratching the finish. Once the finish is gone, you'll never get it clean again.

I bought these thinking, “How different can they be from the 3m ones?”Now I know. There awful. There so thin that after using one 3 times, it shredded and was full of holes. And oddly, the thinness also makes them hard to hold onto. I use these to clean stainless steel food equipment.I’ve been using the 3m for years and I cut each pad in half and can use one for about 2 months before it shreds.This is one of those products where the extra money definitely makes a difference.

So when I ordered these scrub pads, I either read the description wrong or solely went by the picture, either way this could've been my fault. But these pads are THIN, VERY THIN. But another note,they are EXTREMELY durable and strong. The same day I received them, I used them on a customer's wheels to scrub off the grime and brake dust build up...they worked awesome and didn't tear or wear out in any of the areas of the pad I was using. I would've liked for them to be a little more thicker, but again, that could've been my lack of taking the time to read the reviews or description.

Used these pads to apply an oil finish to my wood furniture. The pads turned into cotton balls within a minute. The wood grain was pulling strands out of the pads left right and centre. I also sand my wood down to 240 grit, higher than the recommended grit for applying oil, so the wood is already quite smooth and closed. Regular scotch brite pads lasted 50 times as long
