I bought these for a DIY project for my wedding. I love the color of the wood to compliment my gold accent color. The holders were sturdy enough for 2 partial pieces of 80lb cardstock but they were too flimsy for a laminated 8.5X11 cardstock. I ended up gluing 2 together to support my larger signs. Overall, an okay buy for the price.
