These have a closure so whatever you hang, doesn't slip off. We strung a white decorative chain along our driveway, the deer just step over it, and the chain never comes off.

These are handy little clips. Using them to clip fly paper strips into so I'm not just sticking tacks in the ceiling and if the wind blows hard it will pull that sticky mess down. The clips don't seem very durable, so if you were taking things in and out of them all the time they would probably wear out quick, but for me I'm only changing them every couple months I expect they'll last a long time.

After using just nails at first for some Christmas decorations, these were perfect for holding my Christmas side light decorations in place. So glad I bought them. I will say I could have used a smaller size, but it didn’t matter because these worked great
