High temperature wire nuts for appliances. Make sure the wires are well twisted together and you tighten them properly. I tugged on mine and a couple came off so I retwisted the wires better then reinstalled them again and they were solid!

The medium size worked well to join two 18 AWG stranded wires to connect a replacement oven igniter.Note that these do not have coils inside, just sharp ceramic threads. Therefore they do not grab the wires like regular wire nuts, but require you to push the wires all the way in then keep pressing the wires in pretty hard as you twist the nut. With this process they will grab and hold the wires quite well.

I got these for the inside wires to my oven igniter. These do not have the metal inner threads that hold on to the wire way better then these .

A must for high temperatures on range burners. Appear to be thick enough not to fracture, I have had that problem before.

The threads on the interior are not really "sharp"; thus the "grab" of the fastener is not as "secure" as one would hope.
