The only way to get the caps to fit is to hammer them in. Unfortunately, once you do that, it is essentially impossible to open them again which renders them useless.

These are great! Well made, heavy duty, high quality and smooth cardboard. Easy to affix labels, etc. Using to store HTV and regular vinyl. If you put 12" rolls of vinyl in these you won't be able to put the cap on at the other end, but it still works for what I need.
