This listing is for twenty pieces. The ND weld nut is a dual-tab spot weld nut for applications requiring additional strength where tension is against the weld. Established as the standard slot fastener in the aluminum extrusion industry (economy t nut). The location of the twin-tabs enables the ND to be used in bridging corners and recessed areas. A precision pilot speeds location and provides a full thread engagement. The ND can use the same electrodes, equipment and settings used in production, thus eliminating setup and changeover time, thereby lowering in-place-fastener cost. I reviewed the 5/16 spot weld nuts not long ago. The 3/8 are the same high quality and I'm very pleased with the purchase. I do a fair amount of sheet metal parts fabrication and the spot weld nuts are very handy and make life much easier when putting together various projects. I highly recommend the quality, the price was fair and reasonable and then parts shipped very quickly.

I use these and several other sizes to weld into place for various race car fabrication work. They are a super handy and inexpensive means to install fasteners that don’t require extra tools to hold a nut, especially in “blind” applications like behind a firewall or a seat mount. I highly recommend them.

Purchased for tablesaw fence jigs and fence rail connections. Attach sacrificial fence. Install router wing table. Install fence rail supports to cabinet body. Attach outfeed table to fence rail. Uses are endless.
