I was so disappointed when I got the package because I knew from the size that it wasn't what I thought they would be; the thread shown on the site looks like a fairly good size skein of thread but what I recieved were sample sized. I NEVER would have order this had i known they were that small. I honestly doubt I'll be able to make anything with the same color. It definitely was not worth the money. NEVER AGAIN!

I like the colors, but the thread is not of the best quality if compared with AL or HB's Artiste. Also these spools are so small and there is so little thread per spool. Not sure if there are actually 95 yards per spool as advertised.

The only thing I dislike is the packaging. It's flimsy, so you'll need an organizer for storage. Otherwise, I'm very happy with the set. The color palette is perfect for creating vintage designs, and I was able to use it for fine punch needling on linen fabric, using a 2mm needle.

This thread has a bit of a sheen but once worked it looks pretty matte. There is a small amount of each color, which is enough for my purposes (small amigurumi.) It is not an 8, by what I've used before I'd say 10 or thinner. (Edit: it's probably size 8 embroidery thread which is like a 20 crochet thread if I'm reading Google right.) It is nice and solid to crochet with and overall I'm pretty satisfied.
