Siemens introduces the new simple, spacious and secure Plug-on neutral load centers with electronic breakers. The Ground fault (GFCI) circuit breaks are an effective means of preventing severe electrical shock. GFCIs are installed to protect areas of the home, such as the kitchen, bathroom or laundry, where electrical appliances or products may come into contact with water. This Ground Fault circuit breaker is the same, reliable design, without the pigtail, specifically designed for the Plug-On Neutral Load Centers.

I've gotten a few of these from Amazon and some will have a green light on all the time, some don't... I just rewired my house during a gut remodel of the entire thing... all new wiring, all run as if the house was brand new with exposed studs everywhere. No wires have sheathing damage, nothing. So let's get that out of the way. Now, whey don't trip randomly, which is nice. But my understanding is the LED light is a trip indicator... it's supposed to tell you if it tripped due to GFCI. Well, the recent hurricane caused some flooding in the crawl space of this house, which needs water mitigation and I'm only halfway done (the side of the house I finished got zero water intrusion... yay). I was in the middle of some work in the crawlspace and left my recip saw down there and apparently (genius move) I left it plugged in. The saw was flooded -- surrounded by water and plugged in! Did the breaker trip? Yes. Did it indicate GFCI fault via the LED light? Nope. This is precisely a GFCI trip situation. No trip indicator light was on. I have a feeling the breakers being sold on this site by these random sellers are fakes or B-stock/returns being resold. They are significantly lighter than a standard Siemens breaker is, which makes zero sense. I decided to go to the hardware store and get the exact same thing after noticing this and, guess what, the breaker from Lowes in the impossible to open plastic packaging that cost significantly more was heavier, about as heavy as a standard Siemens breaker. Now why is that? What's happening here? These are critical safety items. Maybe the ones sold here are an older model or Siemens recently changed manufacturing techniques such that the newer ones are lighter than older ones (and maybe Lowes had the older ones), I don't know. I got the same thing From Lowes... plug on neutral GFCI.

A good substitute for an afci breaker when you have equipment that struggles with arc fault. Ie: saws, dehydrators, etc…. Easy install with same footprint. No issues with multiple installs. Good product; good vendor.
