Very simple. Suggest watching a video but it was very easy. Not so bad since I was told it would cost me 200 because the whole back of my phone needed replacing.

This worked perfectly for my cracked Pixel 7 camera back lens cover. It's like I have a whole new phone! The instructions were thorough and easy to follow, and I appreciated that they included everything I needed (minus hair dryer for heat and rubbing alcohol for cleaning.) The tweezers and exacto knife were high quality and for the price you can't beat it. Make sure you order the right one for your phone model and keep everything clean as you're putting it on, and you can't go wrong.

I did this with the instructions alone and a hairdryer in about 45 minutes. I'm overwhelmingly impressed.I didn't get a photo of the pre cracked lens but you can still see the chink in the metal part that caused the initial crack, which had gotten so bad glass was just falling out of my camera lens. For only like $9 you get all the tools and multiple lenses, absolutely blows my mind how they can make any money on this product.Everything fit perfectly, great value and easy installation

Worked great, but the specifics of how the OEM glass is attached, general tool work & sensitivity to dust introduction it requires from you some experience (I think if you can install it correctly the protective glass with correct cleaning & introducing dust you can do this). It was a fun experience & took ~20 minutes.

Kits includes everything you need. I performed the removal of the old lens, and installed this one fairly easily. Good kit!

I got these because their a lot cheaper than getting it professionally fixed. Honestly it was really easy to use and feels like good quality. The problem I had (which is more of a general thing with replacing glass at home) is that it was hard to clean out the dust from behind the camera. Eventually it accumulated and made the picture blurry. I did end up breaking it on purpose to replace it with the second one and I can tell you they are strong. (Took a hammer and screw driver to break it, would not recommend doing that tho).

I did not want to spend $100+ fixing my camera in my phone. Was very skeptical about this item but it worked beautifully! At first my camera was refusing to autofocus, but one quick search on Reddit told me to just tap the side of my phone a few times as there might be something lodged in the lens. I did clean everything thoroughly, but this worked and I've had zero issues since.

It came with everything listed in the kit and an install manual. Had safety glasses and gloves on while doing this and went nice and slow, took about 30 minutes. I did not use the glue they gave as the glass piece had an adhesive on it. If you follow the instructions and make sure to clean your camera lens area after broken glass removal it will turn out great. Glad I got this kit, saved me a ton of money to go fix it. I did not notice a differerence in photo quality, I made sure that my camera lens and the new glass was clean.

You're probably better off paying someone to fix it if your phone is newer and you're as clumsy as I am, but this was a life saver since my phone is well-used and I had someone with a steady hand doing the delicate work. Make sure you have a hair dryer or a heat gun for the removal!Note that a DIY lens repair is not going to make a phone water-resistant again.Pros: I can use my camera and, except for more trouble focusing, it works just as well as ever. A couple months later I have not had any issues with it falling off, and I didn't even use the extra glue!Cons: It was really hard to get the camera lens clean before applying the glass, and I could not get it perfectly free of dust. The process is very precise and anxiety-inducing. The instructions were translated imperfectly from another language -- some were worded very confusingly.

Easy Install. Use Methylated Spirit to loosen glue on OEM. Worked like a charm.

It's better than the completely exploded glass that it replaced and it does fit and have the holes in the right place, but the camera has trouble focusing now at some distances and parts of some photos are blurry. I was very careful and did not touch the lens when I replaced the glass. Separately, I have not tested this, but I have serious doubts about whether my phone is still waterproof, I'm guessing not.

Visually indistinguishable from OEM, however anyone buying this should consider a few things.- This will be an extremely time consuming repair, there will be small shards of glass everywhere, and removing the old glass requires a ton of care and patience. I ended up scratching the lens a bit on the camera sensor itself. My fault, but still.- Buy gloves, otherwise the glass will get stuck in your skin and it's extremely difficult to remove.- Do the repair through a plastic bag, otherwise glass will fly everywhere- The new lens sits about a hair's thickness above the metal frame, so it sticks out a bit and you can feel it's not flush. This isn't visible though.- The rubber epoxy they include is very difficult to work with.- The camera quality will never be perfect again. For that, you'll likely need to pay for the repair. But I'd consider the photo quality to still be totally fine. Photos taken with no other context look nice, but compared to photos taken before the repair, they are noticably less focused. All in all, I don't regret this repair. Google wanted a ton of money to repair the damage. So it saved me there. But I will also never purchase Google hardware again.I'd recommend this repair if you have at least an hour and some insane patience. Rush it and you'll scratch the sensor like I did.
