I was actually preferring a similar listing, but this one was delivered a day earlier so I went with this replacement. If you are careful this is a pretty easy replacement. I used the tweezers for most of the removal as the glass had a spider web fracture coming from the center. Q-tips with alcohol helped with taking off the double sided tape. No heat was necessary. For safety and preparation I suggest nitrile gloves, safety glasses, a plate or surface, and then paper towels or plastic underneath. A few fractures of glass did go flying so I vacuumed the whole area with a dust buster and floor vacuum. The black double sided tape that is underneath the glass helps some of the pieces stay together and I worked my way to one edge then around in an oval. Shaking the glass pieces onto my plate that were falling onto the lenses. I used the tweezers to pull away from the lenses and use the sides as leverage and then scraped with the scalpel when needed. I continually applied more alcohol with a Q-tip around the edges to clean and also remove the black tape. If I got a little space with the glass I dabbed some more alcohol to loosen it for removal. Unfortunately I did not have another camera to film this but everything came off cleanly. Remember to remove some stuck tape from the center of the microphone but I do not think it is necessary to remove all the tape around the microphone.Once it was mostly clean of glass I used a Q-tip with alcohol, the dust cloth provided in the kit, as well as the tweezers to clean the edges and remove any additional glass pieces around the lenses. I also stuck the dust buster over the lenses to see if I could pull up any debris as tiny bits might have fallen behind the sides of the lenses. Lastly I used a provided wipe for the lenses and the glass area, the provided dust tape, and the provided dust cloth.Satisfied with the cleanliness of the phone I then applied the first replacement glass using the tweezers to pull the blue side tape off. I must have manhandled the replacement as the glass fit perfectly but i tried to press or slide it in and cracked the first replacement on the side. I had not tamped down the replacement and the tape had not set all the way so I had to repeat the process of removing the glass. The second replacement went in perfectly so I left the top tape on and used the cloth to gently press it into place.Overall probably the best replacement part I have ever done for a phone so far and would definitely do this again. On a side note, this may have been covered under my warranty but dealing with google as well as their authorized repair shop was a much bigger hassle than ordering one of these for next day delivery and repairing it. The repair itself was less time for me than even a round trip to the shop.

Relatively easy to do with a little patience. The glass isn't an exact fit to the opening it goes in (very slightly smaller that leaves the smallest gap around the edge) but it's pretty close. However, it is big enough for dirt and lint to get stuck in there. Lots of people mention focus and zoom, and I've had no issues with either. Sometimes the focus takes a second but it works. I'd give it 4.5/5 stars if I could.

It has everything you need and the glass fits. Hard to say much more but it is nice to have two lenses in case of fumble fingers when installing. My camera now works well and the glass stayed in as it is supposed to.

Worked great. Just takes some time - I didn't even use hair dryer or hear gun. Just the metall tweezers provided. Take your time and be careful there will be lots of small little shards. Easy and perfect fit. Camera works like new.

I shattered the glass on my 0.7 zoom lens on my Pixel 7 somehow while it was in my pocket. The package comes with 2 lens covers, in case you mess up the first one. It also comes with an exacto blade, fine pointed tweezers, and wet/dry clothes. The directions that come with it are poorly translated but are still readable. The directions tell you to start off by heating the glass with a heat gun to loosen up the glue. I did this once at the start of the removal but didn't want to risk damaging the lenses unless I really needed to. I was able to get all the glass and glue strips removed with mostly the blade and some of the tweezers. Just remember to keep the blade on the edge and not near the lense it's self. Admittedly I did scratch the phone some where the glue was but that all gets covered up by the new glass and adhesive.Once the glue and glass were removed I used the blade with light pressure to scrape some of the residual black glue around the lens hole. Then I used the wet/dry wipes to clean up around and also the lenses themselves.Dropping the new glass in was pretty simple. It fits perfectly in the lens cutout so it basically guides itself into place. My only complaint here is I wish they would indicate what side is the adhesive side.I just received and installed this today so I might update later if I have issues. I attended an outdoor wedding today and took some photos/videos with no issues. The photo I posted is after installing this glass so you can see it looks good as new!

Fits perfectly. Tools and wipes work well. Good fit and took less than 10 minutes. Not sure if still waterproof though. Instructions not very good, but don't really need them añyway. If confused, there are lots of on-line videos.Side note: if your lens cracked because of a sudden temperature change, report it to the consumer product safety commission because Google knows it's a defect and won't fix it.UPDATE: For normal photos, it initially seemed fine. However, when I went to a concert , I was unable to get a decent zoom. It was too distorted. Later, I tried to zoom in on a small serial number of an electrical part but it wouldn't zoom on anything small. Camera zoom features are important to me and this lens doesn't allow it without distortion.
