The thick glass body survives clumsy fridge shuffling, and the stainless steel mesh filter—paired with the included brush—makes cleanup a 30-second task. While the plastic lid still feels lightweight, I’ve adapted by gripping the jar’s base when pouring, and the airtight seal keeps coffee fresh for up to a week. Taste hinges on bean quality: I use freshly ground, coarse rock salt-sized grounds from my local roaster (avoid pre-ground!) to unlock silky-smooth, low-acidity brews. Older beans still work decently thanks to cold brew’s forgiving nature, but storing beans in an airtight container preserves their brightness. A 16-hour steep extracts bold flavor without bitterness. For under $20, this pitcher’s simplicity and durability make it a gift-worthy gem—just toss in a bag of coarse-ground beans to help friends nail their first batch.

These mason jars are perfect for making cold brew. The built-in removable coffee filters make the process super easy, and they clean up well with a quick rinse. The jars also have a handle and a spout, which makes pouring smooth and mess-free.They are dishwasher safe, which is a huge plus for convenience. While I mainly use them for cold brew, they would also be great for brewing tea or even just as a small pitcher for other drinks. The quality is solid, and the design is really functional.If you love making your own cold brew at home, these are a must-have! If I could give these six stars I would!

Wonderful jar with metal infuser to make cold brew coffees and teas. The glass jar is durable and easy to clean both by handwashing or in the dishwasher. Simple to fill the infuser with coffee ground or tea, place in the jar, and fill with cold water. I just pop it in the fridge and leave it overnight and it's ready in the morning, just have to remove the infuser. The pour lid is a nice touch and makes it easy to serve from.

So far, so good with this pitcher. The size is just right. The stainless steel filter is well made and easy to clean. I haven't made cold brew coffee yet, but have used it to infuse water with fruit flavors, cucumber being my favorite. No complaints.

These glass pitchers are so pretty with their texture. Perfect for our cold brew and iced tea needs/wants. Could not have asked for a better product. No leaking, efficient and great! Can brew fabulous cold brew in a couple days with no draining/straining needed. Great item!

Very nice size for cold brew or tea. Loose tea can be placed in the basket instead of using tea bags.

In the package you get all the components to make cold brew coffee which includes the Mason jar, the metal strainer, a silicone gasket, and the lid, in addition to an instruction manual and a pipe cleaner.I have always wanted to have a setup to make cold brew coffee at home, and never realized that making it was so simple. This kit is an inexpensive way to get into the hobby.It is easy to use as you simply put ground coffee, tea bags, or loose leaf tea into the strainer, fill the Mason jar to the desired level with water, slowly put the strainer into the water, put on the lid, and then set it out in the sun. I like to let mine brew slowly over the course of a couple of days. It is fascinating to me to watch the color gradient slowly rise. If you want it to brew more quickly, you can simply stir it inside of the strainer with a spoon.There are two minor issues that I have with this set. The first is that it comes with a silicone gasket that is supposed to be used when you are not using the strainer. You have to keep up with that gasket when the strainer is in, and I fear that it will get lost at some point. I wish that it could permanently stay in the jar. The other issue that I have with it is the lid. The handle is flimsy, and feels like it could break as it will deform slightly if you use it to carry the jar when it is full of liquid. Both of those issues are very minor, and not worth removing a star over.This kit is a pretty incredible value for the price, and would also make for a great gift. I like how versatile it is, and I like that it uses a half gallon size Mason jar. I feel that it deserves a 5 star rating.
