I have been decorating cakes for 30 years and never used a steel cake smoother. I have no idea what took me so long to try one. This shortens the icing of the cake considerably. The patterned edges add interest and also allow you to make colored stripes on your cake sides. They are stainless so won’t rust and store flat so they take up little space in the drawer.

these scrapers are my favourite scrapers i own. They are easy to work with and can be heated or cooled to your liking as they are metal. Unlike plastic ones, when washed the patterned edges do not change shape. Highly recommend buying as they will last a long time.

Great quality cake scraper. Really good for tall cakes. Helps produce a really crisp end design. Very pleased with this product. Would definitely recommend. Careful of the sharp edges though!
