These replacement rubbers breathed new life into my old paddle. The installation process was straightforward, and once applied, they provided surprisingly good performance. The rubber surface offers decent grip for generating spin, while still maintaining enough control for precise shots. The power level is quite satisfactory - you can generate good speed when needed without sacrificing accuracy. The rubber thickness provides a nice balance between offensive and defensive play, making it versatile enough for different playing styles. While these aren't professional-grade rubbers, they're perfect for breathing new life into an old paddle. The durability seems reasonable for casual play, though serious players might want to invest in higher-end options. For the price point, they deliver more than adequate performance for recreational players looking to revitalize their equipment. If you're looking to extend the life of an old paddle without breaking the bank, these rubbers are a practical choice that gets the job done.

When these first arrived they definitely had a funky smell. After airing out it was fine. The rubber was thick which made it a little hard to cut, but not impossible with some extremely sharp scissors. No glue was included but I had my own from previous paddles. The bounce on them was good. I was able to get some decent topspin. For the price-point, getting both the red and the black rubber in one, it is a good value.

The glue provides an nice bond, and the rubbers offer great spin and control. The 2.2mm sponge is perfect for my aggressive playing style. The price is also very competitive. The packaging was secure, and the product arrived in perfect condition.

This is a relatively thick ping pong paddle rubber (at least compared to what I've seen) but it seems to work pretty well and it does have plenty of grip. It is pretty thick and because of that doesn't have quite as much bounce as some other paddles I've used though. The only issue is that upon opening it I noticed that it had an odor. If I had to describe the odor delicately, it smelled like a cow pasture. Literally. I realized that the smell was coming from the product itself, not the packaging. No problem, I thought. I'll take it out of the package and let it air out for a few days so it loses the smell. After a few days, it still had the smell. Every time I entered into the back room where it was sitting I immediately smelled it. I have a store bought ping pong paddle with a very similar rubber and foam padding so I decided to smell that just in case that's just how these smell. My store bought one definitely had a smell, but it was a distinct rubber smell, not a cow pasture smell. If they could find a way to use a different smelling material or somehow de-odorize it then I would give it 5 stars. As it is, it's kind of hard for me to like it when it stinks up my workshop.

Even just pulling these out of the shipping box, these things stank, reeking of what I guess might be the glue adhering the sponge to the topsheet. Not sure how safe or legal it is, but the smell eventually went away after I assembled my paddle.I put these on a Hunter Flame for fun and it makes for a slightly head-heavy paddle that's nimble with good control. I found my chops to stay short and low, so good for defense. Topspins were nice and controlled but I felt it played a bit slow. Not dead slow mind you, but just slow compared to some other setups I have that can shoot bullets into corners and win points decisively.Granted, those setups are far more expensive, and my observations are also influenced by having these rubbers on a blade I don't use often. I'd say you're getting good bang for your buck though.

I did a bounce test against my favorite paddle and these rubbers performed well.I haven't used them much yet so will give a more complete performance update in a few weeks. Some have complained about the thickness of the rubber/foam. Actually these are slightly thinner than the rubbers I have on other paddles. It does take the right technique to cut it. There are online videos that show you how. If in doubt use super sharp scissors to do the cut. These don't come with adhesive. It's best to get contact cement especially made for this purpose. Apply evenly on the foam and the paddle with a sponge. Let it dry completely before sticking the rubber on. Again, there are videos that show you exactly what to do.

I got these rubber pads to replace the currently damaged ones on my paddle. I thought this would be an easy fix. I was wrong.1st: These are only pads and don't come with glue or edge trim.2nd: These pads are very thick and hard to cut. They are 3 times the height of my current pads. So, I had to buy special glue for the pads and I had difficulty cutting them. I used a new x-acto knife and that didn't work. Then I used a new razor and even with that I had a hard time cutting it. After several tries and cuts on my fingers, I cut the rubber and it wasn't even perfect. I am sure if it were thinner it would have been much easier to cut.So, it's not worth the time and effort to buy and use these to replace the rubber pads. At least these should have come with small glue bottle and a n edge trim to complete the installation.

You will not be able to cut this product. Once it goes on the ping-pong paddle with the sharpest razor you will not be able to cut it to the shape of your paddle.
