This wax melts easily with a hot iron and does a good job to freshen skis. It's easy to work with and the excess scrapes right off. After applying to my skis, I was impressed that it was still present after hitting the slopes for a day.

I ski on the East Coast 60+ days a year so get through ski wax fairly quickly. These blue blocks melt with an iron easily enough and are easy to apply and smooth and scrape from the skis. As an all-temperature style wax it does the job, I didn't notice any huge difference in performance compared to my standard all-temperature wax which is a good thing.

Someone that hits the slopes often may have a different opinion but as a recreational snowboarder who only makes it up to the mountains a few times a year this wax works well. A quarter of one block was sufficient to wax one snowboard so this 2-pack should last through several seasons. It's all fresh snow right now so I don't know yet if there will actually be a detectable difference come springtime.

I’m used to buying temperature specific wax for our boards, but this was my last choice so turned out great! We managed to wax 3 boards by using one half of one brick. For being generic was it was good slick wax, I would definitely buy it again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anybody else looking to pick up some board or ski wax. Temperature was around 25 degrees out the day we went out to hit the slopes.

We live in the mountains, right next to sky resorts, and ski a lot of days. My husband keeps our skis well tuned. If you tune skis, you need wax. Convenient two bar pack. Blue wax for cooler temperatures. Good value for the money.

I haven't used this wax yet on my skies. The temperature is not suitable at this moment, but I'd be happy to update it for you later. The size and weight is accurate on the product description. I assumed this BLUE color is usually for a colder climate below around 16F, but this product doesn't specified it. Generally speaking, it you don't see the specification, the product isn't that good.I just wanted to try... ha ha.

Used this wax on a colder powder day and it worked great! Not sure how it is on warmer temps since I have yet to use it for that. You get two large blocks of wax which for the cost will last you a couple years even for the most die hard skier or rider!

This is reasonable base wax, and I would recommend it especially for recreational skiers who otherwise do not normally wax their skis. The wax is advertised being suitable for -25°C to -8°C conditions, which means that it's good for fresh snow and mid-winter conditions. The wax melts onto the ski base easily, irons in well, and provides a nice base coat. I believe that the wax is at least as good as any bulk wax that would be applied in a ski shop.So why have I not given this wax five stars? The reason is that it is also advertised as being good for dirty spring snow. Spring snow is usually warmer than -8°C, which is the upper recommended temperature limit. In addition, spring wax often has either graphite or molybdenum added to help repel dirt, and this wax does not appear to have any of either additive, nor does the advertising copy mention any additives. So although the wax is advertised as being good for dirty snow -- and I believe that it's probably better than no wax -- I believe also that there are better waxes available for these conditions. In spite of my criticism, this is a reasonable fresh-snow wax, and I'm pleased to be using it on my skis; it provides far better glide and protection for the bases than no wax at all.
