I have several things where the handles have seen some wear or have rough edges, so when I saw these, I thought they were worth trying for any of them. Out of the package, they are very flat. The velcro is good sized and catchy but not overly grabby so that it sticks to everything else. The design will only fit on certain sized handles though, so be sure to measure what you might want to use these for. For instance, they are too wide (and thin) to replace the padded handle on my dog lead, but barely fit the wider handle of my carry-on suitcase (that had a rough edge after being gate checked). I love that they are machine washable. Overall I think they are a good way to further the life of many items, not just appliances.

About a month ago, I purchased a custom-made braided paracord handle for my guitar case. The old handle had worn away and was literally hanging on by a thread. But the new paracord handle hurt my hand because it was so much thinner than the previous handle. So I purchased these handle covers for it, and they did the trick just fine.I'm using one of them now and saving one for when the first one wears out. It slips a little over the paracord, and I have to turn it around quite often, but my hand no longer hurts when I pick up my guitar case, and that's the main reason I got these.
