I have a Jeep Liberty that had a driver-side exhaust connection that was shifting around, and when checked, one of the spring bolts had broken off. It was still held together by a single original spring bolt, so I chose these as a replacement/repair part.These were the exact size I needed, and after replacing the broken bolt, I used the second new bolt to replace the remaining original one. The installation took a good amount of time, but not due to the new parts, but due to the fact that I wanted to clean off some of the rust that had accumulated around the gasket area. After it was sanded down and clean, the new bolts went on with no issues. This saved me a lot of money and time compared to having this done by the dealership or an exhaust shop. If you don't have experience working on vehicles, I recommend bringing it to a proper exhaust shop or your local dealership. Worked great, five stars!

I got these for my 96 Toyota Corolla. I replaced the midpipe as the flex joint had worn out and was leaking. I purchased a new pipe, but the bolts had rusted solid to the pipe. I had to cut the old pipe loose and installed the new pipe. I used regular bolts and it caused the exhaust to rattle against the frame badly. I replaced those bolts with these. The slight flex helps keep the exhaust from rattling. I had no problem torquing these down and fearing they would break or strip! Highly recommended!
