This is a set of two 8-in long piano hinges, 1-1/2” wide (which is 3/4” for each leaf of the hinge).These are painted black, semi-gloss, and the thickness of the metal is better than most you find in this price range. These are pre-drilled with four holes on each leaf for a total of eight holes per hinge, but curiously with two hinges in the package you would need 16 screws and there are only eight 1" screws included. These flathead screws are pretty worthless for the hinge since the head is so large that they sit out about 1/8 of an inch from the hinge itself when fully inserted. The quality of the paint on the hinges mediocre at best with it being pretty scratched up upon arrival. These are fine enough for cabinets used in the shop, as long as you use your own screws, but not for fine furniture or cabinet making.

The hinge has nice tight movement without any boggle or minimal play. The painted surface is nice and glossy. My only issue with this item is the long length of the screws. Adding shorter screws on top of long screws would have helped as I am putting this on a 1 inch wood board on the one side. Of course, I can get some from the hardware store, but it would have been much better to have those included.
