These large needles worked great for this project. It was large enough to pierce a hole in the styrofoam discs and the plastic ball pit toys!

Two super long, thick, very pointy, needles as described. Plus a shorter one of slightly thinner diameter. The only negative, and thus the four stars, is that my storage tube came with no cap on one end.
