Remove the 3M adhesive tape from the back of the camera cover slide

It works for my computer camera. Reason I didn't give it five stars was because the glue is weak so I have to be careful opening and closing the shutter or else it comes off the camera.

I needed a camera cover to use during Teams meetings because I didn't want my colleagues to see me in my pajamas or unmade bed. I looked at a lot of covers and found this one, which fits my camera perfectly. It does exactly what I need it to do, which is to cover the camera when I don't want to be seen.

This is a great deal! After reading the tips and reviews from other people, I installed this on the side rather than top to bottom, so it works like a charm. I haven’t had any issues with it falling off either.

This is simple, but when you are sick of using Post-it Notes, this will work. I made sure it would work for my camera (since the lens sticks out from the base), and it was a perfect fit. If you want a way to block your camera, which you should get this and have peace of mind.

Bought for an Aukey HD USB camera that does not include a privacy cover. Just peeled back the waxed paper on the pre-affixed sticker, and voila! The cover fits around the camera lens and can be opened/closed effortlessly!

I cleaned my webcam off with the alcohol pad, but this thing falls off pretty easy. It does adequately cover the webcam and is easy to open and close, just does not stay on very well. I am using it on a very common webcam model as well.

I had bought me a Webcam, Papalook 1080P Webcam. It never came with a Lens cover which I am a stickler for privacy and safety. Once I got the camera and knew it worked well, I bought this Lens Cover. Part of me felt like the cover was not going to work or it was going to cause some sort of obscure with the camera. Once I placed the Lens Cover on evenly, I jumped into a call and tested out my camera. The Lens Cover does not appear in the camera, not on the edges, and it was an easy installation. If I was you, I would buy this Lens Cover and you get two for the price of $6.99 US.

I have a Logitech clip on camera that sits atop one of my monitors. I work remotely for a large international company and I'm in meetings multiple times per day. The IT staff monitors and they get on my computer to do troubleshooting and while that makes me cringe, it is the company's computer. The camera is mine. I pay for my own internet service. And my private life is mine. I don't like the idea of someone being able to remotely see inside my home when I am unaware so I got thus for obvious reasons. I cleaned the area with alcohol, peeled off the backing from the privacy button, stuck it on...and it was laying on my desk in an hour. Fell right off. Total waste. The only good part of this whole thing was that the punched out circle part of the adhesive that you are supposed to discard has now become my new, temporary privacy button. As long as I don't press to firmly, it stays put without becoming glued. I was using mini post it notes or a few of those self stick flags/tabs but they would eventually fall off. This throw away circle sticker gave me the idea to look for some reusable garage sale circle stickers to have on hand. They'll be way less awkward than post it notes and tab stickers...and you can get 350 for under 2 bucks on Amazon. I basically wasted 7 bucks on this solution.
