I had no issues whatsoever using this to hang our saucer swing. My only wish, is that the straps could be adjusted in length.

This combination of a nylon strap with rings on each end and a locking carabiner in a set of two is really useful. If you look at the Amazon listing you'll see many applications that it could be used for.Each strap is rated at 200#, so together they should support 400#. Just from a common sense perspective, these look like they would be plenty strong for a kids swing, but I don't think you should have a 250# person pushing the limit.I got this set of two to hang in the barn until I need them. I might use them to support a tree that is starting to lean after planting or in planting a new tree. They will come in handy. 5 Stars for a heavy duty strap with rings and a carabiner kit that will be handy to have.
