These are cute and small. Great size for kids but not adults. The only problem is one of the ends got bent a little putting together so you need to be careful.

This isn't a solid hoop like the kind I remember. This is plastic that snaps together which I guess you could make to the child's waist so it's not to large.

My toddler great nephew and I are thoroughly enjoying these hoops. Right now they are being great toss rings. I toss them and together we run to catch them. They are lightweight and easy to carry everywhere. They also disassemble and become compact.

It doesn't form a circle when assembled. It's clearly an oval. More importantly, they're super easy to bend. My kid stepped on it and it bent. I tried to make it more circular and a piece is now creased. The plastic is really cheap, thin and flimsy. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I ordered for my 12 and 9 year old. These are totally plastic. They are what they say. I had to add some sand to them, but you have to do section by section....you can't just put in the sand or gravel rocks and think that it will go through the entire hoop. You have to take it apart and balance out the sand to place in each section. Kinda of a headache to do. I only did two portions so far, my daughter is using it but its not 100% the normal hoolahoop. I wish I would have just ordered a normal one or maybe evens an adult one with the sand or gravel already added to it.

I bought for 6 and 9 yo grands. Both are very good hula hoopers with a normal hoop. It is too heavy for 6 yo to use and 9 yo complains about how heavy it is. I got because it was adjustable and could store easy when apart. It is too heavy cannot keep this up. they are just sitting unused while they play with old ones. Will return if I can.
