The Installation Steps：

1、Inside the Tank: Use the unique black Compression Cone Seal to prevent water leakage inside the tank.

2、Between Tank and Bowl: Flat Washer ,Nut and Rubber Washer are used for connect tank and toilet bowl.

3、Bottom of Bowl: The bottom of the toilet is fixed with Rubber Washer,Flat Washer and Wing Nut.

I've gone thru two sets of plastic bolts on one particular toilet seat lid that gets heavyweight duty. After a while, they tend to slip and loosen and I have gotten tired of having to tighten them back up. This set was the solution to upgrade that seat, with real hardware that won't loosen and is design to not put too much stress on porcelain with a rubber washer, and long small diameter hex nuts that are easy to tighten with fingers then finish with a wrench but not too tight, remember the toilet is all porcelain underneath it all.
