I was about to toss my corkscrew when I decided to try replacing these. Now it's like new again and working flawlessly.

Don’t hesitate! Long past due for a new one. It went through the cork as if it was butter!

My wine opener has a 3 3/4" long corkscrew 'worm' so I thought that these corkscrew worms would work great since they are specified to be 3 3/4" long. However, they are only 3 3/8" long. After I got the first order in and saw that they weren't 3 3/4", I thought that they had sent the wrong ones, however the replacement worms were also the same 3 3/8". They responded quickly on the replacements, I just wish they were the size that they were advertised to be. I ended up returning both sets.

Over time these cork screws get worn out. These replacements are original rabbit cork screws and does the job. Cheers.

These are great and have not shown evidence of becoming dull over time. I would definitely purchase these again. They do not show signs of breaking or bending with repeated use.

Easy peasy. The only hard part was getting the old corkscrew out after it suffered metal fatigue and compressed the coils. This went right in and works perfectly. However, about a month later an unsolicited, never ordered, $17.98 wine accessory kit showed up in my mail. I am suspicious that my order of this item triggered the shipment of the accessory kit so that someone could post a review, listing me as a "confirmed purchaser" of the accessory kit.

Gave new life to a well used Screwpull. The corkscrew is a little shorter than the original but it’s sharp and works like a charm.

Great replacement part for the original ScrewPull (later bought out by le creuset.) I wasn't entirely sure this replacement screw would fit my oldie but goodie wine opener. I've lost greater amounts than the $6 cost of these replacement screws so to me it was worth a try. This replacement is a tad shorter than the original but it works just as well. Fits perfectly, operates smoothly and being shorter, there's no worry about piercing through the bottom of the cork. The replacement screw that le creuset sells for $40 is about 4.5 inches long while this HQY measures 3.75 inches. After installation approximately 2.25 inches protrude from the bottom of the opener. Plenty of screw to pull a cork.

I received the product very timely. The spiral was an exact replacement for my Rabbit cork extractor. It has the same force requirement as the original on the first extraction. If there is a change in performance I will add to the feed back but as of now I feel the quality and cost are very good. I only gave it 4 stars because I only opened one bottle and as we all know corks very in tightness.

I was not able to get this corkscrew to work with my Screwpull Original Lever, LM250L-31. The Screwpull has two pins that stick out of the head of the corkscrew which lock into a set of groves so that the corkscrew does not rotate when pulling the cork out of the bottle. The HQY heads do not have these pins so the corkscrew rotates when you pull the cork out resulting in the corkscrew unscrewing and not pulling the cork. However, I was able to put the head of my old Screwpull corkscrew in a vise and with vise grips unscrew the corkscrew from the head. The same for the HQY, if the HQY rotates in the vice, compress the ring until it deforms on the head because you will not use this part. Then screw the HQY corkscrew on to the Screwpull head. It may takes a few minutes to do this, but do you want to pay $40 for one Screwpull replacement corkscrews?
