I use it for a few things, mainly the front grill on my 2014 Outback, which was a weird color combo. Matte black fixed that. Has lasted years. About every 3 years I give it a re-coat and looks like new. Also use on the chrome emblems. Great stuff. And if you don't like it, peel it off.Came packaged properly.

First time ever using this product. I did my homework, watched all of their tutorials and most importantly, I took my time. I sprayed 50% coverage on the first round and then full coats the 2nd - 4th round. I let each spray dry for 30 minutes before adding another layer. Use toothpicks to get the crevices in the letters - don’t use anything that is going to damage the paint! Lastly - use a dry cloth to wipe off the overspray.

This must be the worst packaging I have ever seen. Ordered 2 and only got one that works and sprays as it should. I was really hoping for this product and received a huge disappointment.I used it in plastic, let it set and “cure” for 6 hours. The product peels off easily, not sure if it is a bad batch or the product itself. I was planning on using this on my car but given the quality this will sure peel right off the first rain storm. The spray nose is sensitive and prone to leakage. This is a matte black finish, don't look fancy looks like cheap faded rubber.25 bucks down the drain.

I bought Plasti-dip for the mirrors on my motorhome. The mirrors are aftermarket, and come on an extended aluminum bracket that was so poorly painted it was flaking off and leaving oxidized aluminum underneath (the one photo of the base of the mirror shows what it was looking like). As well, the actual mirrors backs were a horrible cream color. I'm not sure if they were white and the sun had made them change color, or if somebody thought an off-white brown color would look good on a motorhome. Anyway, I ran a wire wheel on the aluminom to get off the paint that was coming off anyway, and left some of the old white coating where it wasn't weathered. I didn't really care about finish, and it certainluy shows I didn't under the plastidip. But the Plastidip went on well, and I did it in a bunch of light coats just like spray paint. It was easy to spray on and dried reasonably fast between coats. I was done in a short afternoon.I put the mirrors away to dry, and after a week went to put them on. I am surprised by the weird texture Plastidip leaves. It simply feels weird, almost wet, but it's not. Either way, it seems durable enough. I put the mirrors on, and they do look much better. For a cheap and easy solution to painting both plastic and oxidized aluminum, this worked great. I was able to touch up areas that I had missed easily enough after I had installed them. Some got on the mirror surface, and it came off reasonably easy with a razor blade. I can see how this would peel off.I have no idea how peelable this material is, as I haven't tried it yet, and I am hopeful this will stand the test of time. If it does, I'll be well pleased with it.

Used this to spray coat cut foam within a rifle case. Applied approximately 6-7 coats, rendering the foam much more durable (and even more attractive looking). There must be a thousand other great applications for this product - highly recommended!

I used this plasti dip can to black out all the emblems and handles on my car. It is very easy to DIY and the end result is very good and comes out professionally. Though it may not last as long as normal paint on frequently handled surfaces like a door handle but it still lasts well.
