Not sure why they said live trap, because these are like hybrid rat traps/coni.Very easy to set once you look at the picture in the listing. They stayed set fine too. Definitely stronger than a classic rat trap.Good for squirrel. I could see them useful for weasel and mink if you have issues with them and your ducks or chickens, etc.They need to be set in an area that won't be exposed to snow, etc like a cubby.
