Its silly sony doesn't give you these with their top handle for fx3. I use it with the rode mic video NTG works great.

I have the Comica VM30 shotgun mic which is 20mm, too small to stay in the FX3 Top Handle. Just one spacer works perfectly. No need to use two spacers at once. You can't actually close the latch with both spacers.

Holds in the mic for the fx3 audio handle well. I wish it were a tiny bit tighter. I use a Sennheiser MKE 600, and it's a little bit loose and can move. I don't notice it much, but over a few hours of shooting time, it needs to get readjusted or when it gets bumped.

You may not think that you’ll need one for your FX Series XLR handle; think again! This is an essential product to purchase if you plan on using a boom mic with your xlr handle. Simple and easy install. Will most likely buy more in the future!

Does not fit microphones with 20mm diameter or less. My Sennheiser MKE600 wobbles despite this adapter.

Works for fitting a smaller shotgun microphone into the Sony FX3's top handle design that is designed for their shotgun mics. I trimmed the second rubber spacer edges off so I could double them up for a little better fit. Works well, holds sturdy. However be aware there is still slight handling noise - not a problem for tripod use though - or use low frequency cut off.

One rubber tube isn't thick enough to accommodate my Sennheiser MKH 418 on my Sony FX3. Luckily, they sent two and they work pretty good when stacked. Much better than wrapping the mic with gaff every time I want to camera mount it.

Sony makes these mic holders for their professional cameras (FS7/FX6/9) that are waaaaaayyyy to big for any mic. It’s almost like the designer has been lied to about what a good size is. Well, if you’re reading this friend, she lied. These sleeves beef up the girth just enough to make the fit snug and provides a satisfying experience.
