My daughter enjoyed them. It's a traditional jump rope with those satisfying "beads", and while a bit long out of the package for a small child (more like adult man sized), it can be adjusted in seconds, though the adjustment is permanent once you cut the excess.

These well-made jump ropes bring back memories of 1980s gym class. The beads make the rope glide, and they aren't loud when slapping the floor. I haven't adjusted them yet. The set is just long enough that we can teach my 3 year old grandkid how to double-dutch. Maybe we'll shorten them if that doesn't work out! It's been fun watching my 6' tall hubby jumprope with them, too. They aren't just for kids!

I ordered these for myself. I am a grown woman who still likes to jump rope. I was hoping these ropes could serve well to jump double dutch, but they are too short for double dutch. Nevertheless, although they are advertised for kids, I am able to jump rope using them. For reference I am 5'5". These ropes are soft enough for safe play with children, but heavy enough for efficient twirling. Great quality and durable silicone. Much better alternative to the hard plastic stringed ropes out there. Those things sting when you get hit with one jumping into them. I do recommend these ropes.

Looks as advertised but appears I received a used item since the blue handle had black scrapes on them. $9 is a bit high since there’s competitors who sell the set for $7 on Amazon. Quality is average.

Well-weighted, easy to use, has a great sound when thebbeads hit the groud, and easy to change jump rope length. Great for exercise and for play (jump-rope and physics lessons). Colors are strong but not too vivid. Overall, would recommend.

Flexible, strong nylon cord with colorful beads to add enough weight to make it great to jump. Higher quality than the red, white and blue ones I had as a kid. Rubber handles are easy to hold and big enough for any hands. Rope is long enough for adults as well as most children. Not long enough for double-dutch but good size for 1 person.

This looks to be all plastic and wimpy yet out of desperation I got if for my non-jump-rope 9-year-old daughter. In reality it balances being light and non-wimpy. It has a smooth effect when skipping rope with just enough weight. The length came long enough for me to use it and since she is a total beginner and short I followed the picture instructions to shorten it. I removed one handle, pushed the plastic parts into the handle to get the rope knot out, unknotted it, removed several plastic beads, cut some rope, and then re-knotted it and put it back together.I will say that the "whack" of the rope where the plastic beads hit the hardwood is loud but no damage to the soft wood floor. Yay. You get a pink and a blue.

I got this beaded jump rope set for my daughter, but after trying it out myself, I realized it’s great for both kids and adults! Adjusting the length was super easy—just remove a few beads, retie the knot, and it’s good to go!
