How to Install a Piano Hinge
Cut the piano hinge to length with a hacksaw and file down any rough edges.
Mark the location of the screw holes using a hinge center punch.
Drill pilot holes and attach the hinge.

The stainless steel screws came losse in the box and I am missing 17 of the 42 required screws.

This inge looks great and is very very sturdy. Looks like great quality and should last a long time in my outdoor application. Had to replace my canopy hinge and decided to use this and it turned out great

THEY NEED TO LEARN HOW TO READ A TAPE MEASURE!!! The hinge is plenty sturdy, but #6 screws are undersized for the weight it will hold. Secondly, it's 1/4" too long and if I cut, the ends will be very close to edge of the screw holes. So tell your supplier to get their act together and be precise. I have very little confidence that if I return them and get replacements, the new ones would be correct length. I think they don't have a problem with inaccuracy.Conclusion; Don't buy this brand!!

Good heavy duty hinge. Unfortunately, I only got two screws. There was a hole in the bag. I didn’t notice them in the outer package. One end of the hinge was slightly bent.
