These cables are pretty light which make them convenient to throw in your backpack for those short trips to the store or whatever. Carrying a bigger cable means a bigger lock which can be pretty hefty if you're just going down the road. I wouldn't use them as an overnight, outside the house/apt whatever on an expensive bike or scooter, as it wouldn't take much effort to cut them but they're great for those quick trips and you can put whatever size lock on them you like. Good stuff.

Used these to secure a couple helmets to motorcycle helmet lock. I was able to have enough length to run one end from helmet lock up through bottom of helmet and through visor opening and back down to helmet lock to lock in place and set on motorcycle seat. lightweight and easy to store.
