This chair type rock stop for cello and end pins work great! I love that this a set of two! We keep one in the case and one set at home. The strap is easily adjustable and the end pin fits snug.

These cello endpin anchors appear to be good quality and have great packaging, but they are not. All four broke with less than a month of use. PLEASE AVOID. The picture shows where they broke (other two are basically in the same spot). The plastic used for the adjusting the strap length is very cheap and brittle.One star is probably too generous. These should last years, not weeks. As of now they still work, but once the plastic piece fully breaks, they'll be useless. I'm going to return them while I still can and purchase more somewhere else.FYI, I've used other endpin anchors from Amazon as well as the original Xeros brand and never had an issue. In fact, some of my Xeros endpin anchors are over 5 years old without any damage.

I got this for my bass and it works well with my foldable stool. Bassists will likely know which foldable stool I mean too.The rubber stop also fit well on my endpin, oddly enough. However, those will vary widely depending on your bass.The anchor, however, is almost sure to work well for even bassists.

The end pin stopper works great, Haven't tested the rubber stopper but the end pin stopper alone will last for a while and is worth the price. The only thing to note is that the metal ring itself is not very thick (maybe diameter of about 3-4mm), so if you have a chair with uneven legs, the ring might slip out if placed under the chair's shorter leg. But the diameter of the ring where it goes under the chair leg, is wide enough for almost any chair leg (about 2 inches).
