I have 2 parrots in really large bird cages and they are always spilling seeds on the floor. Which normally would not be a big deal as just a little vacuum and I can clean it up. But I have 3 small dogs who loving "helping" me clean them up by eating whatever they can get to. These mesh wraps work great at minimizing the seed spillage on the floor. They do not stop all the seed that falls, but I went from having to vacuum every day to twice a week, if at all. I thought the wraps wouldn't big enough, but they were actually a lot bigger than I expected. They have a drawstring tightener in the top and the bottom which allowed my to cinch them nice and snug to the cage. Was also worried that my birds would chew or rip the mesh, but they do not. When I let the birds out of their cages there has been a couple of time when bird poop has gotten on the wrap, I just take them off, throw them in the washer, hang dry and good as new. Very happy with my purchase definitely recommend.

This is an excellent product for bird owners. It’s well-designed to prevent seeds and feathers from scattering all over the floor. However, I mistakenly tried using it for my pet rats, hoping it would contain their bedding. Unfortunately, they shredded it overnight! While not suitable for rats, it’s fantastic for its intended purpose and fits a wide range of cage sizes (I have a double Critter Nation cage for reference). 5 stars for bird owners, but rat owners—beware!

Sadly this did not fit my cage. It almost fit, but since this is not stretchy it wasn’t able to go over my cage. The material is stiff and not stretchy. If this would fit your cage i suppose it would work.
