So, I don't own many CD cases anymore. I don't have a need for these to display them either. However, I have been on the lookout for something really low profile, and preferably acrylic/transparent. I got excited when I saw these and really hoped they would work for my ideas. First, my daughter is an avid reader and her nightstand is always filled with books. I gave her one of these holders to help her keep a limited number of books at once. And it's been working! Each divider can fit two thinner books or some of her thicker chapter books. She switches them out when she needs to, and the rest of her night stand has been staying clear. Second, I wanted something for in my office where we keep the kids' tablets for storage and charging. I already have a bulky cord organizer, so I wanted something small and low profile for the actual devices. This holder fits the tablets well! I'm pretty happy they fit my needs even though it wasn't for storing CDs. I took off one star because the tops of the dividers are not smooth in some spots. I wouldn't use these for anything too delicate.

I collect CD's and love having physical media in music rotation. These little holders are light weight and do the job very well. I have thousands to CD's displayed around my office and home and these are perfect for my purpose.
