I had been looking at a much more expensive shell scoop, and decided to try this set, as you get two for a MUCH LOWER price. I couldn't be happier. I have used quite a few times already and they work great. I especially like the scoping handle which makes it easy to fit in my beach bag. I have had no issues with breaking or rust- I imagine if you try to "dig" in something hard with them you could possibly break them, but like everything else, just use some common sense. Not everything made is indestructible. I'm very happy with this set!

These were great for shelling in rough water where you could see the shell but couldn’t grab in with your hand. I was very pleased with them, they held up very well. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased these sifters to be used while we were on vacation in Florida. We used them for shelling and they worked great for getting to hard to reach shells when the water was a little too deep. Also, it was great for catching shells that were rolling away and I didn't have to bend over quickly to try to get them. The sifter portion is wider than the ones that they sell in the beach stores. They folded nicely and we were able to fit them in our suitcase.

We purchased these for the beach and while they do make it easier to grab shells, you still end up having to sift through with your hands when the sand is wet. I loved that I could grab a shell from the water as they washed in.

I was a bit leery, because they were so inexpensive, but wow! We used them for picking up rocks on Lake Superior. We picked up large scoops of rocks and they never broke. Only wish the handles were a bit longer. I will buy this again for our kids.

I bought this for shark teeth hunting. The holes are to big to catch any sharks teeth. However it’s great for finding shells or any other cool stuff you find in sand at the beach. But if you want this for sharks teeth like me save your time and money. Imma still keep it tho because my kids will enjoy looking for shells and ect. at the beach. I gave it four stars because it’s still a good sturdy product for a good price but it advertises shark teeth and unless u in a area to find HUGE teeth. But the smalls we have at our beach gonna go right through the holes. Other than that a great product!!

I bought these for fossil and shell hunting along the beach with my niece. It isn't the best construction as the sieve part kept unscrewing while using it. However, it was lighter than my other one which was nice.
