This fob was so easy to program! Worked on the second try, but only because I messed up with the cycling of the key the first time. The second try was correct and it took literally seconds to enter programming mode, press the fob button and get the signal from the vehicle that programming worked. Some people claimed it has a short range, but mine works fine from a distance. Don’t hesitate to get one of these!

This was for a 2001 Ford, 4 button. It did not come with programming instructions, but did come with a battery. My first attempt at programming, I concluded I did not cycle the key from off to run within the required number of seconds.Second attempt was successful. From Ford's site, this is the procedure I followed, and it worked perfectly.WARNING!!If you have other remotes, for this same vehicle keyless entry, have them close by as they MAY be de-programmed during this procedure. Best bet is to have each one, for this same vehicle to hit any button as you do the new one. They can all be done by pressing one button after the new one WITHOUT having to go through the reprogram cycle for each one.Learned this the HARD way."Step-by-Step Programming Instructions"Close the car doors, then open the driver-side door. Press the UNLOCK button on the driver-side door.Next, turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times. Do this within 10 seconds, making sure the 8th time ends on RUN. When you’ve entered programming mode, the door locks will lock and unlock. (Note: If the doors don’t cycle, turn the key faster. Your car may not have keyless entry if you still can’t get the door locks to cycle.)Press any button on the Ford remote to be programmed. Do this within 8 seconds. The door locks will cycle again to confirm the keyless entry remote is programmed and ready to use.Have a second remote key fob? Again, press any button on the remote within 8 seconds to cycle the door locks. Repeat this step for any additional key fobs. Finally, turn the ignition to OFF. The locks will again cycle to confirm programming is complete.

Me gustó mucho, se ve como el original, pero más nuevo. Buena calidad de materiales aunque el alcance no es como el original. Se activa a unos 5 metros. Busqué un YouTube un tutorial para configurarlo y listo!

Nothing to dislike on this fob. Easy set up and no glitches since. Have had it for about 6 weeks. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Honest review of 2 KeylessOption Replacement Keyless Entry Remote Control Key Fob Clicker Transmitter – Black @ $9.85 at time of order.I got these to use for a 2002 Ford Taurus. When I acquired this, it only had one key and key fob, and a lot of the imprinting is worn off of the fob’s lock/unlock buttons. It took about 6 tries to get these programmed following their instructions (which sucked) and watching a how to video (which was much more helpful). Note: Leave your driver’s door open during this programming, at the last key turn, leave the key in the on position, have both fobs handy if programming both for the same vehicle, and have the original fob(s) handy too, if you have one. Watch a video to learn how. You turn your ignition key on and off 8 times in rapid succession, the door locks will cycle, you have several seconds to then press the door lock buttons on each fob. You must also press the fob on the original(s) to reprogram it along with the new one(s). The door locks should work with the fobs. I don’t know why it took these many times to program these. They seem to be working fine, just do not have the distance of the original.Likes:Amazon Prime shipping, returns and refunds available.Reasonably priced for 2 transmitters.Exact replicas of the OEM transmitters.Easy enough programming. (Note: for a Lincoln LS, you will have to go to the dealer).Works with a wide variety of vehicles (1998 to 2016 various models/years), so if I should need them for another vehicle later on, I might be able to use these and reprogram them.Dislikes:Does not have the range of my OEM fob. I do not know if the batteries are weak or if it’s just that these are too cheaply made fobs.Meh:Perhaps not package these with the batteries already in place or have a tab that can be removed to activate the battery contacts. The buyer has no idea how long these have been in storage with the batteries being able to be in the ready/on position.Battery replacement might be a pain without taking the fob off the key ring each time. It seems the fob could have been made to open more easily while on a key ring. They are so thick at the attachment (to the keyring) point, that it makes it difficult to take them off and get them on a keyring.Hopefully this honest review helps someone decide about this product.
