The castors roll well and served the purpose but the wheel locking release could use some improvement.

Great casters!I wanted small wheels for a cart where I keep my bench planer. Cart and planer almost 100 pounds and these wheels handle it well.Recommendation: I mounted them square to 3.5"x3.5" legs and it's a bit challenging to get to the locking mechanism. Next time, I'll mount them toward the outside corner of each leg.

I was searching for a small wheel castor due to needing it for two shelves I built 6 feet 6 inches high 5 feet wide apiece with 3 shelves each. I have a 5x10 storage unit, and wanted to utilize all the space I could without it being a hassle to get to things. I needed a small wheel castor to only take up 1, and a half inch more. Leaving me with just 1, and a half inch to clear the storage door. I wasn't planning on wheel castors. I was using furniture sliders, and it was a pain. I found these castors in a search. Reviews were good so said why not try it. They work perfectly with the already loaded shelves. I put 6 wheels on each shelves. Let me tell you pulling one out at a time is soo flawless. Heavy wood shelves with loaded totes is like sliding on butter floating on a cloud. Some people said they used other screws with them. One shelf I had to use a deck screw to put the castor on with a 2x4 piece due to building the first shelf different. The second one I used the screws that came with them. I see where it can be an issue with the screw, but the secret is drill them in 3/4's of the way in. Then hand tighten with a screwdriver. I didn't use the one that came in each box. All you have to do is tighten by hand hard. So far no complaints. Good small castors.
