I love that the base is an amber glass with both spray & pour options with a nice handle for a sure grip. I use mine for silver water that should be kept out of sunlight. The amber color does this and glass assures me of no plastic particles nor chemicals are leaching into my water. I bought 2, one for the kitchen & one for the bathroom.

I was so ready to be disappointed when I saw the top portion is made of cheap black plastic, but it actually surprised me. Yes the top part is plastic but the bottom is glass, and the "spray" function works VERY well. It is a light, dense, atomized mist that is perfect for coating food in. The pour function is also locked behind a switched cap that makes accidental pours impossible. All of this for 8 dollars is a steal. I highly recommend this.
