Yes, it's plastic. But it serves it's purpose as a temporary boost for a child who's old enough , yet a bit too small to use the toilet unassisted. I would not recommend this for long term use by little people who need a solution that lasts a lifetime š¤

My 5yr old now feels comfortable sitting on the toilet (after trying the mini real looking potty - but he knew it wasnāt real because there was no water, and at 1yr old he kept turning it over after flushing, trying to see where the water is because he would also flush the real oneā¦. and other regular potty seats would slide).My son is slim, but he sits on this without being afraid of falling in. He is so comfortable, heāll sit there for long periods of time (which is awesome considering we couldnāt get him to use the potty/toilet before.The colour (mint green) is soothing, which is important if you have a special needs child.Note though that this does not fit a 15 inches high toilet as advertised. Like the others, it really is best for 16ā and taller (as you can see in my photo). But itās still workable!Overall, Iām happy with my purchase!

So glad I bought this item. My granddaughter loves this. It helps with her independence at 3 1/2. She loves going to the potty all by herself with no help. Is also great for standing at the sink to brush her teeth. I give it a thumbs up,

My toddler loves this. He is always excited to use it and it lets him get on the potty by himself.
