I bought this treadmill about a year ago. It was fine for the first year or so, and I diligently maintained it with the belt lubricant, etc. I did experience the speed reading likely being faster than the actual speed and sometimes slight changes in speed, but I dealt with it because it was at a low price and I was still getting a decent workout. Recently, it has started smelling like burned rubber. I stopped it, felt the covering where the motor is, and nearly burned my hand. After Googling the issue and fearing a fire hazard, I shut it off and unplugged it. The next day, I tried to use it again and was met with the same fire-like smell. I've tried to contact Amazon, but am past the return date. The company is also unreachable via email and phone. Spend a couple hundred extra and get something reliable that will last.

Pretty pleased with it after my first run. It is compact, sleek, and was easy to set up (literally just prop up the arms and turn it on!). The console is easy to read, and navigate and it comes with a remote as well. In the package, it is EXTREMELY heavy...but it was safe inside, so theres that.It does roll, but not at a steep angle, so you have to bend down to roll it around. I do live in an NYC apartment, where space is crucial, so I appreciate how it folds flat for easy storage.Why I can't give it 5 stars---The pacing is way off. I run a solid 10 min mile for my easy runs, which should be a 6.0 on the tread. I set it to 6.5 and was feeling easy. My watch however said 12:30 min mile. The mileage on the tread and my watch was the same, but the pace was slower than it should have been. I bumped it to 7.5 and got an 11:30 mile...so I'm thinking its going to be off by 2mph...meaning even at a 10mph, it will only register as an 8 min mile. It also slid as I ran...so I might need a mat of sorts?If you're looking for something to get steps in, or an easy run where time and distance don't matter, its fantastic! There are preset programs and an app for variety as well. You can still use it as a training tool to improve your running speeds, as long as you adjust the pacing up and not expect it to be exact. (I'm going to go off feel--easy 40 min run vs 10min mile for 4 miles)

I live a very sedentary life, and everyone says I should get outside and walk. The problem is: I hate the outside. So I eliminated that variable and decided to get a walking pad. I knew I needed handles because I can be clumsy, and I am happy I got them. Eventually, my husband joined in. He gets on, watches Survivor, and before he knows it, he's done. I have had no issues moving it from room to room. Would definitely recommend.

I received this yesterday and couldn't be more pleased with this purchase! I am a 5 ft 6 inch, 62 year old woman and was able to get this beast inside my house from the front porch, get it out of the box and set it up all by myself. It was packaged very well and it is made very well too! It is quite heavy but is very easy to move because of the wheels on the front. It folds down very easily and I slide it under my Golden Retriever's raised bed for storage. I didn't try standing it on end, but I think it's probably too heavy to do that safely and it may damage the machine. I'm so glad I spent the time to research and read reviews on so many different folding treadmills with handles. I made the right decision by choosing this one. It is sturdy, quiet, easy to operate and you can change the speed at .10 mile per hour increments. It starts off slow and stops slow (unless you hit the stop button or pull the safety switch, then it stops abruptly). I just hit the pause button on the remote and it slowly stops and then I push the stop button. That avoids the abrupt stopping of the tread. It has all kinds of programs that I will probably never use. I just needed a good sturdy product with a wide walking tread that didn't incline and I needed sturdy handles to help me keep my balance. I didn't buy it to run on but I'm sure it would be great for that too. It will go up to 10 miles per hour! It's perfect for my needs! Buy it, you'll be glad you did!

Coming up on having for this a year with regular use for peloton workouts - minor issues but customer service is top notch!! Knowing that there is a warranty that comes with this and its haggle free and quick responses. Couldn’t recommend this treadmill enough!!________________I had purchased two other small treadmills and returned. Either didn’t have the capability or the quality. This one is perfect. The belt is wide enough where I’m not tripping on myself. The speed is perfect “I’m not sprinting - quick job/run - the controls are easy and user friendly. And the handles come in handy. I like that the option to use the remote is there AND all of the controls are at reach.I use it with my peloton app. I don’t have the room or the heart to invest in a tread and this I will say is perfect for my needs. I’m 5’5” and have no issues over stepping or feeling like I will fall off.HOWEVER- it’s heavy. So be prepared for that.

So far, unboxing was great with NO assembly required.. such a relief! It is as compact as I had hoped, yet long enough for me to take good strides rather than small steps (I'm 5'5").Love the remote control feature and how the bar and handles fold up and lock into place as opposed to having to do a lot of work to install handles each time you want to use them. These arms fold down into the base of the treadmill and from there I can use the remote control to operate. Very nice feature! Fits under the bed as well when I want to store it away.This is a very turn-key, compact treadmill that is perfect for the space I wanted to use it in. I also already connected to the Bluetooth speaker at the bottom... works like a charm! A really nice add-on feature! I tried walking at 4 and running at 7... both were quiet and the transition was smooth.VERY, very happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend to others looking for the same!
