The metal is pretty thin and flimsy, but it should hold up to light use. Wasn't too complicated to put together.

Was a significant error on my part to buy this cabinet. Should have been more exacting on the details. Basically a good cabinet, that for any diy'er is pretty easy to assemble. Was my fault, because it does say A4, but it also weasel words about working with letter size. I didn't realize til it was built that letter size docs basically won't work. It has a reasonably clumsy way to jam them is front to back, but even that doesn't fit well. too late to send back, so i'm screwed. Probably will end up buying an internal frame, that for 3 drawers will end up costing as much as the cabinet.

This is a very nice file cabinet once it’s finished. Highly recommend using the video instructions via the code scanner on the instructions. I did have to stop the video several times however as they were went fast in the demonstration and rewatch parts to make sure I was putting it together correctly. Worth the money.

This file cabinet was well packaged. It is size wise what I wanted but not as medium duty as I would have liked for it to be. I'd like to say it only took me 1.5 hours to put it together but it took longer. Don't waste your time using the included screw driver, go straight and get your "electric screwdriver." Use the screws to predrill the holes in the top of the cabinet as otherwise you will spend too much time trying to line up those exceedingly tiny holes you cannot see on the bottom of the top part with the holes in the sides. The drawers are folded so be prepared to handle that situation. Other than those issues, getting the drawers seated properly was a little difficult but it worked out. Also, had to buy A4 hanging file holders to use the front to back filing system but they work fine once placed in file cabinet. You can use letter hanging files if you use side to side or legal if you adjust the brace/bracket for that.Pros: Right sized, looks decent, drawers won't open with another drawer open, has a lock, will work for my small home office sufficiently. Instructions were not bad, video does not exactly match the cabinet I bought but it still was helpful.Cons: Not easy to put together for me, metal is lighter than I would prefer, No file support if not using hanging files,

Love this file cabinet. Had a horrible experience with a prior purchase, and this restored my faith in online shopping for large items. I contacted the seller prior to ordering this, and asked whether they paid for returns and they assured me, that should there be a defect, they would do anything to make it right, including pay for the return/exchange.It comes with an instruction manual. Some might find it lacking, but you must pay strict attention to the orientation in the pictures. It said assembly needs two people and I assembled by myself. I used my own screwdriver rather than the one provided. I am a female and had no problem with assembly whatsoever. It took about 11/2 hours total, including unpacking. BTW, the packing is the best. Just be sure to unpack carefully, as, should you for some reason need to return, you need the original package. The metal is a little on the thinner side but still very sturdy. The drawers accommodate all sizes of files.Overall, just thrilled with this file cabinet from beginning to end. Inexpensive but quality purchase.

This cabinet was exactly what I was looking for. It meets all my needs, such as the design, the capacity and the locker. The drawer can be opened smoothly when I put a lot of things inside. And the locker can lock 2 drawers at the same time which means I can only save 1 key. All in all, the filing cabinet is durable and well made, worth the money.

Cabinet functions perfectly. No missing parts. Assembly went well but requires a lot of patience. Took three hours to assemble. The recommended use of a power driver is just too cumbersome for the 40 screws. Much easier with a standard screw driver.
